Hey. LAST NIGHT WAS GREAT. No sex. But still great.
We (the usual crew) headed to the grand opening of Neon World @ Transit. The DJ was alright and everybody was feeling great that night. Lucas actually came!!!... and he layed down his mack on this girl I graduated with! Digits were given and hopefully, something will happen. God speed, nigga. And my situation that night? I attempted to dance with every fuckin' girl in a 10 mile radius... and the mission was achieved. There was no beef whatsoever and the karma was fantastic. Dudes were also throwing free glowsticks and I got my "rave" on... haha. Only negative thing of the night (which is with every club night) was that 25 dollars worth of spring water was consumed by moi -- which amounted to 3 16oz. bottles. I didn't buy them either (my bad, guys... :P). Everybody was bumpin' and grindin' -- chaos and serenity.
It is now sunday afternoon. I'm still pretty tired, but it was worth it. I just finished my lunch -- a boiled egg, an orange, and a pepperoni hot pocket. Scrump-dilli-umpteous. Now, I got to get my agendas organized. I need to write three papers, and I also need to drop off my job application at UPENN (I quit working at I.Goldberg... thank God!). I've also been filing for financial aid and been doing hardcore research on my selection for graduate schools or If I transfer, a new college.
Oh yeah, I'm still reading Campbell... and I am loving it. His perspective reminds me of mine, except his is 10 times more organized and complex. One particular thing that caught my eye also answered my search for a place in theology. Campbell, in summary, states that all religions are pretty much the same. They are not the same from the mythical perspective (though some of the stories do bear a striking resemblance), but rather, in their perspectives on how to live life and our nature. Campbell, if you were still alive, I'd give you a big hug and buy you a 40oz of Old E.
To end this post, I would like to spontaneously spit out the top ten music artists (from my opinion... which is right ;)):
In no particular order:
Duke Mushroom
Coldplay
Lenny Kravitz
Natalie Imbruglia
Jamiroquai
Dido
Esthero
Common
Mos Def
DJ Spooky
And how have I come to this conclusion, you might ask? Perfection. I feel that, for some odd reason, their music is perfected. This is not in judgement to the genre they belong, or even accord to any general standard. It's just that feeling I get when I listen to their music -- that there is soul present. A complete soul. I know the feeling, but the explaination is very vague at this point. When I figure it out, I'll update ya... ok?
To all of you a good day, good night, and good spirits.

Whew! The weather is hella hot right now, and will be for the rest of the week I believe. I'm just sitting here, trying to burn off whatever I got from my dad. First it was Chheng, now my pops got me all sick and shit. Unbelievable...
Nevertheless, I'm going to do my exercises today. I haven't done a full blown work out for two days, and I'm quite meticulous when it comes to my regiment. You just get that feeling that you're getting flabbier, and flabbier, and flabbier.... AHH!@#!@
Oh. Hey, did you noticed that I changed the layout a bit? Pretty cool, huh? That's right fool, this shit is hot. ;)
Oh, let's give a review on that party I recently attended this weekend. In the beginning, I was like "what the fuck?" because none of the dudes were going to dance... too fuckin' gangster to dance with bangin' ass girls surrounding the vicinity. What a shame. Anyway, I guess their balls finally unshriveled and they hit the dancefloor, doing the signature hiphop shuffling. The girl population was pretty dope, too. I did my dancing, bumping, grinding, finding, mining, designing, climbing, rhyming, and all that shit everyone should present on the dancefloor. We had some erotic incidents, but nothing like a Japanese spa. Sort of like the spa at the YMCA. HEH. Afterwards, I went to Chinatown with my cousin, her husband, and their friends. That shit was pretty hilarious... nothing like a drunk Cambodian and Vietnamese trying to buy "5 pieces of rice and a pack of soy sauce" for a dollar. No joke. I'll have to hang out with them more often (when they're drunk).
Just relaxing... y'all do the same. I actually wasn't in the writing mood, but Annie started to complain. So thank her for this mindless post (I really did try hard to collect my thoughts though). Peace.

Hmm.. I woke up having a different direction of thought from my last post. I think I was just over reacting, though I am not retracting everything... hehe.
Cheers.
PARTAY TONIGHT!!@#

It sure annoys me when people try to compete and/or try to copy your style and certain things you do. Of course, if it is out of admiration, I'm totally flattered and I wouldn't care. By the way, this isn't towards you Quoc (you always give me props when you copy my shit =P).
When I refer to copying, I'm not specifying anything that I wrote or anything of that nature. It's more like when people try to copy your style or try to be like you in certain ways (or at whole), not out of admiration, but because of envy. I'll just mind my own business, trying to do my thing in life, and the ignorance of certain people who just envy you... horrible. It shows you what kind of heart they have. The worst thing is when they feel like you are attacking them, just because of who you are. That's how racists think. That's how all ignorant people think. They don't like you for the mere fact of who you are. Where is the logic in that?
My situation now is like that of Othello's. For all of you who don't know, Iago is the villain of the story. He pretends to be Othello's friend, but because of envy and a pure blackheart, he makes it a priority to destroy Othello's life. He feels that Othello stole his rightful position, when all Othello was doing was being himself. Where is the logic in that (again)?
Sigh...
Hopefully, these people will see their ways right.
And in other news, me and Sue were spitting retard jokes because her T.A. pissed her off. It was pretty funny ;).
This was supposed to be homework night... ack!@# Haha. I will survive nevertheless though =).
Have a good night, fellaz and ladiez. Make sure you don't got Iago's fronting around you.
"HOLLA FRONT!!!" - Jin, chinese emcee now signed to Ruff Ryders. He's mad nice.
